The Ganesh Himal Base Camp trek, a full boarded camping trek, shows you the variety of Nepal’s flora – in spring with vibrant colors and sweet fragrance.

An interesting feature of this trek are the precious stone crystals typical for the region.

You will enjoy views of the majestic peaks of Ganesh I, II, III and IV, of glaciers and gorges and visit natural hot springs as well as quaint Tamang villages.

Itinerary of the trek
Day 1 Drive from Kathmandu to Samari Bhanjyang, 1250 m (7 hrs drive)
Day 2 Trekking from Samari Bhanjyang to Katunje Bazaar, 765 m (6,5 hrs)
Day 3 Trekking from Katunje Bazaar to Kintang Phedi, 655 m (5,5 hrs)
Day 4 Trekking from Kintang Phedi to Jharlang, 1500 m (6 hrs)
Day 5 Trekking from Jharlang to Chalise, 2000 m (6 hrs)
Day 6 Trekking from Chalise to Hindung (5 hrs)
Day 7 Trekking from Hindung to Rajgang Kharka (5,5 hrs)
Day 8 Trekking from Rajgang Kharka to Kalo Seto Kunda where the Ganesh Himal Base Camp is located
Day 9 Rest day at Ganesh Himal Base Camp. Excursion around Kalo Seto Kunda
Day 10 Trekking from Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka (6 hrs)
Day 11 Trekking from Rajgang Kharka to Chalise, 2000m (6 hrs)
Day 12 Trekking from Chalise to Laba village, 1750 m (6 hrs)
Day 13 Trekking from Laba village to Manyang Bhanjyang, 2934 m (5 hrs)
Day 14 Trekking from Manyang Bhanjyang to Majhgaun, 2200 m (6 hrs)
Day 15 Trekking from Majhgaun to Budathum (5 hrs)
Day 16 Trekking from Budathum to Arughat Bazaar, 500m (2 hrs). Drive from Arughat Bazaar back to Kathmandu

  • Nepal entry visa fee, Visa issuance is easy at the arrival of Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu which will require 2 passport size photos
  • Airport tax required for the Domestic / International flights all alcoholic, mineral water, laundry, phone calls, and internets.
  • Personal Trekking Equipment, medical and travel insurance
  • Entrance fees for
