Overview of Langtang Valley Trek

Langtang Valley Trek is one of Nepal’s most beautiful and accessible Himalayan trekking routes, located just north of Kathmandu near the Tibetan border. Often called the “Valley of Glaciers”, Langtang offers stunning mountain scenery, traditional Tamang culture, alpine forests, and beautiful glaciers.

This trek is perfect for trekkers who want Himalayan views without long flights or crowded Everest and Annapurna routes.

Itinerary of the trek
Day 1: pick up from airport
Day 2: Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m)

Scenic drive through hills, rivers, and villages (7–8 hours).

Day 3: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,480m)

Trek through forests and along the Langtang River.

Day 4: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m)

Pass traditional Tamang villages and yak pastures.

Day 5: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m)

Short trek with stunning mountain views and glaciers.

Day 6: Acclimatization Day at Kyanjin Gompa

Optional hike to Tserko Ri (4,984m) or Kyanjin Ri.

Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel

Return trek with downhill trails.

Day 8: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi

Final trekking day.

Day 9: Drive Back to Kathmandu
Day 10: Departures
