Annapurna Kali Gandaki Valley Trekking

A short trek on the western side of the Annapurna massif leads up the famous Kali Gandaki Valley.

You can take a bath the hot springs in Tatopani and visit the ancient town of Kagbeni.

The treks offers open range views and the encounters with friendly horse trains and goat herders. Highlights are a visit to the famous Buddhist and Hinduist Temple of Muktinath and a sunset hike up to the viewpoint of Poon Hill.

Itinerary of the trek
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 2 Guided sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley
Day 3 Flight or drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (40 min flight / 7–8 hrs drive)
Day 4 Flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, 2710 m (40 min flight). Continue trekking to Kagbeni, 2800 m (1,5 hrs)
Day 5 Trekking from Kagbeni to Muktinath, 3830 m (5–6 hrs). Visit of the Chumig Gyatsa Temple
Day 6 Trekking from Muktinath back to Jomsom, 2710 m (5 hrs)
Day 7 Trekking from Jomsom to Tukuche, 2590 m (5 hrs)
Day 8 Trekking from Tukuche to Ghasa, 2010 m (6 hrs)
Day 9 Trekking from Ghasa to Tatopani, 1190m (5 hrs). Visit of the Natural Hot Springs in Tatopani
Day 10 Trekking from Tatopani to Ghorepani, 2774 m (8 hrs)
Day 11 Sunset Hike to Poon Hill, 3200 m (1,5 hrs up and back). Trekking from Ghorepani to Hille, 1475 m (5–6 hrs)
Day 12 Trekking from Hille to Nayapul, 1070 m (3 hrs). Drive from Nayapul to Pokhara (1 hr drive). Time for sightseeing in Pokhara
Day 13 Flight or drive from Pokhara back to Kathamndu. (40 min flight / 7–8 hrs drive)
