Helambu Circuit Trekking

Trailhead of this trek is the village Sundarijal meaning “Beauty of Water”, offering a view of waterfalls and hundreds of species of birds.

A huge panorama from Annapurna to Everest is visible from Chisapani on clear days.

This trek gives you the opportunity to explore the life and culture of the Sherpas and the Tibetans painting art and culture. The trek ends at Malemche Bazaar situated on the beach of the Indrawati River.

Itinerary of the trek
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel
Day 2 Guided sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley
Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. Continue trekking to Chisapani
Day 4 Trekking from Chisapani to Kutumsang
Day 5 Trekking from Kutumsang to Tharepati
Day 6 Trekking from Tharepati to Melamchigaun
Day 7 Trekking from Melamchigaun to Tarke Ghyang
Day 8 Trekking from Tarke Ghyang to Shermathang, 2550 m (4 hrs)
Day 9 Trekking from Shermathang to Malemche Bazaar, 870m (5 hrs)
Day 10 Drive from Malemche Bazaar back to Kathmandu (x hrs drive)
